Treatment for Anxiety & Early Trauma

Tired of the overwhelm-avoid cycle? I understand. It’s not as simple as talking it out or trying new skills. Especially when anxiety’s part of the mix. This cycle is often related to trauma. And it's highly treatable. Gently treatable. Without so-called "therapy hangovers."

And my job, my passion, is helping people like you. Whether you seek support for ADHD, early or recent trauma, anxiety—or some combination of the three. Helping people learn to flexibly free themselves is what I do.

Beyond Talk Therapy & Skills Training

You might seek out therapy wanting skills to manage stress and change habits. But it's so common that early or later traumas need our attention to provide lasting relief. It's important to heal from those, to truly move on. That's why Dr. Bike uses "bottom-up" approaches, such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR.

IFS is a widely-used treatment for anxiety and early trauma. IFS teaches you to safely and compassionately navigate your inner experiences. ("A part of me feels anxious. Another part can't stop worrying. My parts want things to be perfect in order to feel safe.") Parts are a way of conceptualizing implicit content asking to be met with tenderness, so past pain can stop taking over your present.

End the Anxiety Cycle and Reclaim Your Authentic Self

Are you ready to reclaim your mind and your life? Therapy can help. We'll work together to shift you out of exhausting old patterns of anxiety and perfectionism. By gently releasing the pain from the past, you can respond to life's challenges by choice and live from your authentic self.

Out of network?

Each month, the billing system creates a payment record for you. It's called a "superbill." Out-of-network clients use the superbill to seek reimbursement.
