College Prep Boot Camp

Get ready for college before you hit campus! Time management, organization, communication, and self-care. Bring a notebook and pen or your laptop. A former Loyola and Notre Dame professor, Dr. Bike knows what freshmen need to succeed. Thursdays, 6:30-8pm. July (20th and 27th) or August (3rd and 10th). $250 for the two-night class. Space is limited.

Mindfulness Classes

Find new ways to focus and to deal with stress! In this 4-week class you’ll practice new skills each week. Mindfulness of breath, body, thoughts, communication, and daily living. No special clothes or equipment required. Bring a notebook and pen. Dr. Bike has taught mindfulness at MU’s EAP, Boone County Hospital, and the Chesapeake ADHD Center.

Revise Your Life: A Writing-based Goal-reaching Class

New writing activities each week. Explore your past and present. Revise your perspective to pave the way for your future. Join with a friend. Based on the work of James Pennebaker and of J.B. Peterson. Writing by hand is key to the process. Bring a notebook and pen. Dr. Bike made her living as a freelance writer prior to revising her life and becoming a psychologist.
